I took on the task of redesigning and binding “The Medium is the Massage,” a book written by Marshall McLuhan and originally illustrated by Quentin Fiore. My primary focus during this process was the captivating graphics within the book. To enhance its visual appeal, I concentrated on incorporating unique imagery. I decided on a blend of cool and warm tones to evoke a vintage and dystopian ambiance. Complementing this visual choice, I maintained a uniform text style which resulted in a cohesive and visually engaging reinterpretation of McLuhan’s work.
